Logistics Specialist

A Logistics Specialist coordinates the movement of goods, monitors shipments, and maintains accurate logistics records. They work with customers, drivers, and internal teams to support timely deliveries and resolve shipment concerns.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipment pickups, dispatch schedules, and deliveries.
- Monitor shipment status and follow up on delays or delivery issues.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and partner couriers regarding shipment updates.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, manifests, and delivery records.
- Maintain accurate shipment data in the tracking system.
- Assist in resolving missing parcels, failed deliveries, and other shipment concerns.
- Prepare logistics reports and identify opportunities to improve operations.
- Follow company procedures for safe and proper handling of goods.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in logistics, courier operations, or transportation is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of shipment tracking, dispatching, and delivery processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail when handling shipment records and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under time-sensitive conditions.
